Welcome and thank you for taking the time to read and find out more about The Rotaract Club of Canterbury. Rotaract stands for “Rotary in Action” and has the motto ‘Fellowship through Service’. Founded in 1968, Rotaract is a truly worldwide phenomenon, with around 7,000 clubs in about 163 countries worldwide.
Furthermore, Rotary International itself has 1.2 million members in about 200 countries worldwide. Some would say this makes us part of one of the largest networks of philanthropists in the world. Rotaractors work alongside Rotarians to give their time locally, regionally, and internationally to combat some of the biggest and smallest issues in our world. When you join Rotaract, you don’t just join a service club, you join a way of life, and you would be very welcome to join us anytime.
